Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Science Teacher to work across Middlesbrough schools, delivering engaging science lessons and supporting diverse learners. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, you will inspire students and help them build confidence in science.

You will join a supportive team with access to extensive CPD, a dedicated consultant, and the chance to gain experience across multiple high-quality schools in the area.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification in science.
• Proven ability to teach Science to KS3/KS4; KS5 is advantageous.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for science education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous).
• Teach Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics as per specialization.
• Differentiate work to support varying abilities and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with department staff and SLT to drive student progress.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
