Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Science Teachers for multiple opportunities across partner secondary schools in Wigan and Warrington. Roles include KS3/KS4/KS5 Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science. We welcome both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with QTS; strong classroom management and a passion for Science are essential. Competitive daily pay and CPD are provided.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• A relevant Science degree or teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of individual students.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with Science department colleagues.
