Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Manchester is recruiting Science Teachers to work in secondary schools across Greater Manchester. We're looking for teachers with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, with opportunities available for both daily supply and long-term placements.

You'll deliver lessons, manage classes, and contribute to the wider life of the school. The role offers flexible working, competitive pay, and in-house payroll support. QTS/QTLS and DBS are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and GCSE.
• Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• References supporting your Science teaching experience.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to obtain one.
• Overseas Police Checks where applicable.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the lessons provided by the school in daily supply roles.
• Manage the classroom effectively and support students’ learning.
• Contribute to long-term teaching duties when placed long-term.
