TARA Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the West Midlands with the recruitment of a Science Teacher for a September start. The role is part time and temporary until Christmas, teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 with a small amount of KS3 Maths.

You will join a collaborative department and contribute to high-quality lessons, supporting student achievement in a friendly, supportive school community.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Science at KS3/KS4.
• Confidence delivering KS3 Maths lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS3/KS4 Science.
• Deliver a small number of KS3 Maths lessons.
• Collaborate within a supportive department to raise achievement.
• Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
