You will create engaging, enquiry-led lessons, plan practical investigations and contribute to curriculum development within a collaborative department.

Qualifications

• Science Teacher with ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
• QTS/PGCE in science required.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Legal ability to work within the UK.
• Passion for practical and engaging Science teaching.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3.
• Specialising in a Science discipline at GCSE where appropriate.
• Planning practical investigations and activities to reinforce learning.
• Preparing students for GCSE examinations through targeted teaching and revision.
• Monitoring student progress and responding to identified gaps.
• Providing effective feedback and intervention to support attainment.
• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning.
• Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations within the classroom.
