Job summary

Outwood Academy Valley, part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust, is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to supervise classes during short-term teacher absences at our Worksop campus. You will deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, and support learning across subjects while maintaining a positive environment.

The role involves organising the daily cover rota, liaising with supply agencies, and assisting in classroom preparation. Term-time schedule is 37 hours/week, 5 days, with 39 weeks a year.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
• Ability and willingness to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training.
• Essential ICT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences and implement pre-set work.
• Manage student behaviour to maintain a constructive learning environment.
• Assist in preparing learning environment and materials for lessons.
