Outwood Academy Ormesby in Middlesbrough is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to supervise classes during short-term teacher absences and deliver set work under supervision. The role is part of the Outwood family with a view to maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour, supporting students’ progress, and contributing to a positive school environment.

The position runs 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time plus 5 days, with start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences and ensure continuity of learning.
• Implement set work programmes under the guidance of teaching staff to maintain pace and classroom order.
