Job summary

Principal Recruitment is seeking Cover Supervisors to support teaching staff in Hounslow secondary schools. You will supervise classes in absence of teachers, deliver prepared materials, and support positive behaviour and student engagement.

We welcome candidates with experience working with young people (youth workers, coaches, mentors). A DBS check is essential. Flexible full-time/part-time hours offered with competitive pay and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Flexible and reliable, able to adapt to different classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials or activities.
• Support students with behavioural and learning needs to promote inclusion.
• Act as a positive role model and support school staff in promoting respect and teamwork.
