Job summary

Connex Education is recruiting experienced cover supervisors or degree-qualified individuals to support secondary schools across Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan. This long-term role runs five days a week, starting in September 2026, with a focus on maintaining learning during staff absences.

You will cover KS3/KS4, liaising with teachers, reporting on pupil progress and behaviours, and upholding school policies. Aimed at those seeking valuable classroom experience in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification required.
• DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• EWC registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover KS3 and KS4 in place of a subject teacher.
• Provide updates to the teacher and highlight behaviours.
• Follow school policies and build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
