Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes using work set by the absent teacher.
• Explaining tasks and responding to routine student questions.
• Maintaining a calm and purposeful learning environment.
• Applying the school's behaviour policy consistently.
• Recording attendance, behaviour and completed work.
• Supporting students with additional learning needs.
• Providing feedback to teaching and pastoral staff.
• Assisting with wider school duties when cover is not required.
