Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Recruitment & HR Administrator to join our Albrighton team on a maternity cover fixed-term contract. The role supports recruitment and onboarding across the group, ensuring a smooth candidate journey from application to joining.

You will work closely with candidates, Registered Managers and central Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Training and HR teams to deliver a positive experience. This is a fast-paced, varied role within a large UK complex care provider.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong communication skills with different people.
• Positive, professional and people-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end recruitment: advertising, sifting, shortlisting and interviews.
• Keep candidates informed through onboarding and compliance.
• Liaise with Registered Managers and central HR teams to stay on track.
• Book new colleagues onto inductions and training.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and support audits.
• Monitor training and compliance; escalate concerns as needed.
• Administer holiday, sickness and absence.
• Ensure processes follow Safer Recruitment policies.
