Job summary

Gi Group is seeking a Production Operative for a client in Sittingbourne, Kent. This role is physically demanding, involving lifting and moving stock daily and adhering to safety and production schedules.

Shifts run 05:30–14:00 and 14:00–22:30, Monday to Friday with rotating weeks and occasional weekend work. Pay is £13.96 per hour with overtime at £20.94 per hour; 28 days holiday, weekly pay, with full training and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently with safety compliance.
• Good timekeeping and reliability.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn on the job and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Lift, shift and manoeuvre stock daily.
• Inspect stock for defects.
• Keep machines and work areas clean and report faults.
• Work in inside/outside environments depending on section.
• Follow production schedules and work instructions.
