Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is recruiting Primary School Teachers with QTS to join our Derby teaching pool. You’ll work across a range of primary schools—from village to multi-form academies—with daily, long-term, or permanent placements. A named consultant will match you to bookings based on your preferences and availability.

Qualifications

• QTS or UK-recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience in a UK primary school.
• Confident classroom management and strong communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete our full registration and compliance process.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 according to experience and preference.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour per school policy.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback.
• Support pupils with SEND and EAL with SENCo cooperation.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures and code of conduct.
• Report safeguarding concerns to the DSL.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and parents.
