Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in England.
• A relevant degree and teacher training qualification.
• A good understanding of the National Curriculum and primary teaching practices.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage, motivate and inspire pupils.
• Flexible, reliable and proactive approach.
• Adapt to different school environments and teaching requirements.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour and encouraging positive learning habits.
• Assessing and monitoring pupils' progress and adapting teaching to meet their needs.
• Differentiating lessons to support pupils of varying abilities.
• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
• Maintaining appropriate assessment records and lesson plans.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and school staff.
• Following school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
• Adapting quickly to different classroom environments and school routines when undertaking supply assignments.
