Empowering Learning is recruiting Primary School Teachers with QTS to join our Derby teaching pool. You will work across local primary schools, with daily supply, long-term supply and permanent placements managed through our Derbyshire network.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK-recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent UK primary school teaching experience or completion of ECT induction.
• Confident classroom management and strong communication skills.
• Genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete our full registration and compliance process.
• Desirable: EYFS/KS1/KS2 experience, SEND/EAL experience, DBS with Update Service, phonics/maths mastery familiarity, flexibility for bookings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum and school guidance.
• Teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 according to experience and preference.
• Establish and maintain high standards of behaviour per school policy.
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback on bookings.
• Support pupils with SEND and EAL with SENCo and teaching assistants.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school conduct procedures.
• Report safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
• Communicate professionally with school staff, leadership and parents as required.
