Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking Supply Teachers to support primary schools across Swadlincote, Newhall, Woodville, Midway and DE11 area. Opportunities range from immediate day-to-day supply to short- and longer-term placements after half-term.

Roles across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with flexible full-time and part-time options. Ideal candidates hold QTS, recent UK primary teaching experience, and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• QTS required and valid DBS; willingness to update DBS if needed.
• Experience delivering lessons in UK primary classrooms.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned to school plans and curriculums.
• Create an inclusive, productive classroom environment.
• Maintain positive behaviour and effective management.
• Adapt to different schools, year groups and routines.
• Ensure pupils make progress and stay engaged in learning.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and school staff.
