Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking supply teachers to cover primary classes across Mackworth, Allestree, Darley Abbey and surrounding DE22 areas. Roles range from day-to-day to longer-term placements, with immediate opportunities available.

Qualified teachers with QTS are welcome, including Early Career Teachers (ECTs). Flexible full-time and part-time arrangements are offered, with competitive daily rates and weekly PAYE. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• QTS required or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools preferred.
• Ability to manage classrooms and deliver engaging lessons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned to school planning and curriculum expectations.
• Maintain a safe, positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour confidently and consistently.
• Adapt to different school settings, year groups and routines.
• Support pupil progress and continuity of learning.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff.
