Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking Supply Teachers to work across primary schools in Alvaston, Boulton, Sinfin, Chellaston and surrounding DE24 areas. You will cover day-to-day, short-term and longer-term assignments across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with flexible schedules to fit your availability.

Immediate opportunities exist with weekly PAYE and competitive daily rates of £150-£190. You must have UK right to work and an Enhanced DBS to apply, with training and support provided.

Qualifications

• QTS required for UK primary teaching roles.
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school or placement.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with school planning and curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Adapt to different school environments and expectations.
• Support pupils of varying abilities and needs.
• Maintain continuity of learning during teacher absences.
• Communicate professionally with staff and leaders.
