Job summary

TLTP Group is seeking a Primary SEMH Teacher to deliver a KS2 curriculum in Barking East London. You will work with pupils who have SEBD, ASD and SEMH, adapting lessons to meet individual needs and coordinating a small team of Learning Mentors.

The role requires QTS or QTLS, strong behaviour management and a commitment to safeguarding. The post starts ASAP and offers an opportunity to shape the school's future.

Qualifications

• Special needs teaching experience with KS2 SEMH/ASC required.
• Ability to differentiate the National Curriculum for SEMH/ASD pupils.
• Experience coordinating a team of Learning Mentors (Therapeutic Education Practitioners).
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a primary school model of education across KS2.
• Drive pupil progress in a range of subjects.
• Coordinate work of Learning Mentors and provide direct teaching time.
• Develop holistic pupil profiles and SMART targets with IEBIP when needed.
