Job summary

Tessupply is recruiting a Primary School Cover Supervisor for a Warrington primary school rated Outstanding by Ofsted. This full-time, long-term role involves covering across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with pre-planned lessons and ongoing safeguarding commitments.

The successful candidate will deliver lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupils across year groups, while building strong relationships with staff to maintain a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Ability to manage a classroom independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and adaptable approach to staffing cover.
• Ability to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across primary year groups.
• Manage classroom behaviour with positive strategies.
• Ensure pupils stay engaged and supported in learning.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
• Support a positive, inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
