Job summary

Aspiring Cardiff secondary school is seeking a passionate PE teacher for an immediate start on a long-term basis. You will deliver PE across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience desirable but not essential, and contribute to sport, wellbeing and pupil achievement in a supportive school community.

With a strong leadership team and great facilities, you’ll join a collaborative staff environment, help lead extracurricular activities, and inspire students through physical education.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
• Recent experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.

Responsibilities

• Teach PE across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based PE lessons.
• Encourage participation, teamwork, confidence, and a love of physical activity.
• Support extracurricular sports, clubs, and school sporting events.
