Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a PE Teacher for a supportive secondary school in Oldbury. You will deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, plan and assess pupil progress, and foster confidence and teamwork.

The role offers full-time or part-time options starting ASAP, with strong emphasis on positive relationships, high standards, and continued CPD through Flourish Education's dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in PE – ECTs welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge across a range of sports and physical activities.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Experience planning and delivering lessons independently.
• A positive reference from your most recent employer.
• A genuine passion for supporting students and helping them achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Teach a range of sports and physical education activities.
• Assess, track and report on pupil progress.
• Maintain positive behaviour and implement school policies effectively.
• Differentiate lessons to support students with a range of learning needs.
• Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
