Job summary

AVD Appoint is recruiting a PCB Layout Engineer for a Berkshire-based, permanent role offering up to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits. You will design complex PCBs in Altium, optimise layouts for manufacturability and reliability, and work on 6+ layer digital, mixed-signal, and power designs.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience in PCB layout or design, with hands-on Altium knowledge and a track record of delivering high-quality layouts on challenging projects.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as a PCB Layout Engineer or similar.
• Experience with Altium is required.
• Projects involve multi-layer designs (6+ layers) including digital, mixed-signal and power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Create complicated PCB layouts in Altium for 6+ layer boards.
• Optimise components for manufacturability and assembly reliability.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to meet project timelines.
