Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Occupational Therapy Assistant for the Tamarind Centre, a male medium secure service. You will deliver one-to-one and group interventions, promote independence, and support emotional wellbeing under OT supervision.

Two full-time positions are available. One role includes hospital shop duties on specific days, to be discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification and understanding of OT role in mental health.
• Motivated and confident to work within a recovery and person-centred model.
• Experience delivering one-to-one and group interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one interventions and group work.
• Collaborate with the OT team including caseload and supervision.
• Support and participate in training and development along with supervision.
