Supply Desk Ltd in Basingstoke is seeking a passionate Music Teacher for a long-term, part-time role starting ASAP. The position covers KS3 and KS4 with four days per week, until May 2027, delivering engaging lessons and supporting musical development.

The successful candidate will inspire students, manage a positive classroom, and contribute to the school community while benefiting from dedicated consultant support and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Formación

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting, or suitable training and experience as an ECT.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for music education.
• Confident delivering practical and theory-based lessons.
• Can inspire and motivate students of different abilities.
• Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is organised, approachable and able to work collaboratively.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach both practical and theoretical elements of the Music curriculum.
• Encourage creativity, musical exploration and student participation.
• Support pupils in developing their performance, composition and listening skills.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment with clear expectations for behaviour.
• Encourage students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for music.
• Work alongside colleagues to contribute to the wider department and school community.
• Support extracurricular music opportunities where appropriate.
