Job summary

Mitie Painting in Bristol is seeking a Multi Trade Operative for a permanent, full-time post. The role covers a broad spectrum of multi-trader and general builder duties, including plastering, tiling, brickwork, carpentry and basic plumbing, with maintenance tasks on doors and furniture.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of basic building works, wet trades and basic carpentry.
• CSCS, PASMA, IPAF certificates are an advantage; company provides courses.
• Able to work safely on-site with basic construction knowledge.
• Good communication with colleagues and clients.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible, willing to take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a broad spectrum of multi-trader skills and general builder tasks.
• Perform repair and maintenance on doors, furniture, fixtures and appliances.
• Fixing, tiling, changing locks, mastic work, plastering, brickwork, flooring.
• Investigate problems and propose solutions.
• Determine tools and equipment needed for each job.
• Liaise with site management on building-related issues.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
