Job summary

Coventry University Group is seeking an Hourly Paid Tutor for the Oldham Study Centre to support undergraduate teaching in the School of Business, Accounting and Law on a fixed-term basis.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, develop learning materials, and contribute to assessment and curriculum design while engaging a diverse student body and adapting to flexible scheduling, including evenings and travel between CU Group campuses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in an appropriate subject or a good Honours Degree with professional qualification
• A teaching qualification or willingness to undertake PGCE is essential for this role
• Experience in UK Higher Education is desirable and beneficial

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching for undergraduate programmes within the School of Business, Accounting and Law
• Develop and update learning materials and tutorials on the VLE
• Provide curriculum development and assessment support and deliver marking where required
• Support inclusive teaching practices and engage diverse student groups
• Occasionally work evenings and travel between CU Group campuses as needed
