Job summary

Coventry University Group is seeking an Hourly Paid Tutor for the Birmingham Study Centre, within the School of Health, Science and Education. The role is fixed-term and based at our Birmingham campus, with the expectation of delivering high-quality teaching across undergraduate programmes in modern facilities.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree (or a good Honours Degree with professional qualification) and a teaching qualification or be willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in appropriate subject or Honours degree with professional qualification/ membership
• Teaching qualification essential or willingness to undertake one
• Experience teaching in UK Higher Education is desirable

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate programmes
• Develop and update module material and learning resources
• Provide curriculum development and tutorials to support learners
• Support online learning materials and learning outcomes
• Engage diverse student cohorts with active learning approaches
• Potentially work evenings and weekends as required
