Job summary

Unity Education Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time, permanent role in Havering. The HLTA will support learning across KS1 and KS2, deliver pre-planned lessons, and lead sessions as needed.

Ideal candidates will have HLTA status or equivalent, solid primary school experience, excellent classroom management, and a commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and 2.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and lead whole class sessions when required.
• Work with class teachers to plan and prepare engaging activities.
• Support pupils with a range of abilities and needs.
• Promote inclusion and positive pupil behaviour.
• Follow health, welfare, safety and safeguarding policies.
• Provide additional support to teachers in the classrooms.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils in lessons.
