Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Newham to support learning across the school. You will work with teachers, lead interventions, and cover classes when required in a welcoming primary setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons during teacher absence or PPA cover.
• Support pupils across a range of year groups.
• Lead small-group interventions to raise attainment.
• Work closely with class teachers to support pupil progress.
• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs.
• Assist with assessment and monitoring pupil development.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
