Job summary

GAP Group Limited is seeking a Hire & Sales Coordinator for the Non-Mechanical division. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, handling hire requests, coordinating logistics, and resolving queries in a busy depot environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a high-volume hire desk or similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commercial edge and a drive to increase sales.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
• Confident IT skills, including Outlook and Excel.
• Team player who can also work independently and use initiative.
• Experience in plant & tool hire is a bonus; willingness to learn will be supported.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing hires per day across Non-Mechanical equipment.
• Process hire desk administration and handle customer and supplier queries quickly and accurately.
• Ensure stock levels meet demand and identify opportunities to maximise sales.
• Coordinate with drivers and fitters to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
• Resolve customer complaints and supplier issues with professionalism and efficiency.
