TeacherActive is seeking a Food Technology Teacher for a part-time, long-term post in RCT with an immediate start. The role focuses on delivering engaging practical lessons, maintaining high standards, and managing pupil behaviour in a secondary school setting.

The successful candidate will have QTS in Food Technology, prior secondary teaching experience, and a resilient, adaptable approach to support pupils with challenging behaviour while ensuring safety and learning.

Qualifications

• QTS with a Food Technology specialism (NQTs welcome).
• Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school.
• Strong practical cooking and food preparation skills.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Good health and safety understanding in a practical teaching environment.
• Resilient, adaptable and supportive approach.
