TeacherActive is recruiting a Food Technology Teacher for a secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT), Wales. The position is part-time, long-term with an immediate start, focusing on practical cooking lessons and robust health and safety practices.

You will lead engaging classes and uphold high standards in behaviour and learning. The successful candidate will hold QTS with Food Technology, have secondary school teaching experience, and bring strong practical cooking skills alongside

Qualifications

• QTS with a relevant Food Technology specialism (NQTs welcome)
• Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school
• Strong practical cooking and food preparation skills
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Good understanding of health and safety in practical teaching
• Resilient, adaptable and supportive approach
