Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking a Lecturer in ESOL to deliver courses to a diverse range of learners, including international students and those from external programmes such as Job Centre Plus. The role encompasses teaching both full-time and part-time cohorts across offsite, workplace and vocational settings.

Candidates should hold a Level 5 teaching qualification or be working towards it, plus a Level 5 ESOL qualification, and demonstrate FE ESOL teaching experience with GCSE English and Maths

Qualifications

• Experience teaching ESOL in FE settings.
• Experience across commercial, Job Centre Plus or NEET provision is desirable.
• Evidence of GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ESOL to learners at all levels, including international learners.
• Teach full-time and part-time learners in a range of settings (offsite/workplace/vocational).
