Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a Hounslow-based secondary school from November 2026. You will teach KS3–KS5, develop reading and writing skills and prepare students for GCSE and post-16 exams.

The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent, a degree in English and at least two years of secondary teaching experience, with a proven ability to differentiate and motivate learners. A positive, engaging classroom environment will be fostered.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A relevant degree in English or a related subject.
• A minimum of two years' experience working as an English Teacher in a secondary school is essential.
• Proven experience teaching English across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
• Experience preparing students for GCSE and post-16 assessments.
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to differentiate lessons and support students of varying abilities.
• A passion for English and a commitment to improving students' academic outcomes.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Develop students' reading comprehension, creative writing, analytical skills and understanding of language and literature.
• Prepare students for GCSE and post-16 examinations, supporting them in achieving their full academic potential.
• Create stimulating lessons that encourage critical thinking, independent learning and a love of English.
• Differentiate teaching effectively to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching strategies to improve outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management, behaviour and student engagement.
• Contribute positively to the English department and wider school community, promoting high expectations and a supportive learning environment.
