Amour Recruitment’s client in Portsmouth is seeking Customs Clearance Clerks. You will handle border pre-notifications, import/export declarations, and advise customers on customs requirements.

Ideal candidates have strong IT skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. After training, you will join a remote on-call rota with weekend shifts and a £200 overtime payment for each on-call weekend.

Formación

• Excellent IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• A confident, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Someone who is comfortable working under pressure and dealing with customers professionally.

Responsabilidades

• Completing GB Border pre-notifications.
• Preparing and processing import and export customs declarations.
• Calculating and processing HMRC duties and tariffs.
• Issuing proforma invoices.
• Communicating with customers and advising them on customs requirements.
• Submitting declarations to HMRC and ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
