Job summary

Global Ardour Recycling is seeking an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join the Preston-based Scrap Car Network team. The role covers customer service, administration, sales calls and coordinating vehicle collections, acting as the main contact for Scrap Car Network and RAW2K customers to ensure a professional and efficient service.

• Excellent telephone manner and professional communication.
• Ability to manage high-volume workload with conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to Scrap Car Network and RAW2K customers by telephone and email.
• Handle a high volume of inbound calls, answering customer questions and resolving enquiries promptly.
• Make outbound calls to follow up on customer leads and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Book and rearrange vehicle collections, considering customer requirements, driver availability, and cost efficiency.
• Resolve customer complaints at first point of contact where possible.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate person when needed.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, drivers and colleagues.
• Update customer and collection information across multiple systems accurately.
• Ensure all emails and customer correspondence are actioned within required timescales.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to reduce repeat calls.
• Maintain and provide KPI information when required.
• Follow call standards and company procedures.
