Job summary

The Business Connection Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Credit Controller for their modern Wrexham HQ. The role is office-based, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, with a strong benefits package and a focus on delivering a first-class customer experience.

The Credit Controller will manage around 1,500 accounts, chase payments by phone and email, and work with SAP for cash postings, ledgers, and month-end processes. Training and support are provided to ensure KPI targets are met.

Qualifications

• Experience within a fast-paced credit control environment with proven knowledge of credit control systems is essential
• Confident telephone and email communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for approximately 1,500 accounts, which will involve chasing payments by email, and telephone
• Allocating remittances to ledgers and processing cash postings onto the SAP system
• Reconciling customer accounts
• Opening and monitoring new accounts and setting credit limits
• Copy invoices/statements
• Preparing and processing the daily banking and monthly direct debits collections
• Month end reporting using MS Excel
• Raising manual invoices/credits
• Agreeing payment plans
• Taking card payments
