Job summary

Abacus Consulting is recruiting a Credit Controller for an onsite role at their North Herts offices near Biggleswade. You will join a busy accounts team handling day-to-day credit control duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include chasing late payments, cash allocation, resolving queries, setting up new accounts, and reporting on debt and overdue balances. Experience in credit control and strong Excel skills are essential; SAP knowledge is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Credit control experience in a busy accounts environment.
• Confident in using Excel for cash allocation and reporting.
• SAP experience would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Chasing late/non-payment from customers.
• Cash allocation and posting payments accurately.
• Query resolution and communication with customers.
• Setting up new customer accounts and credit limits.
• Reporting on the status of debt and overdue accounts.
• Providing support to Senior Credit Controller as required.

Our client, a leading business in their sector, have a need for a Credit Controller at their offices in North Herts
