Job summary

Sir Bernard Lovell Academy in Oldland Common is seeking a motivated and reliable Cover Supervisor to support learning across the curriculum during teacher absence. You will work with students across year groups to keep lessons engaging and on track.

The role is part of Futura Learning Partnership, a national trust of 26 schools. Applicants should have at least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths and demonstrate resilience, reliability and a collaborative approach to working with others.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates resilience, reliability, integrity and a collaborative approach to working with others.
• Can confidently manage classroom activities, organise workload and use ICT to support learning.
• Has a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent), including English and Maths, with experience of working with children or young people.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across the curriculum during teacher absence.
• Engage students across year groups and subjects to maintain a calm, purposeful environment.
• Assist with classroom activities and use ICT to support learning where appropriate.
