Meridian High School is seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to ensure continuity of high-quality learning when teachers are absent. You’ll lead lessons with pre-prepared materials, foster a positive environment, and help students stay engaged.

The role supports collaboration with teaching staff and the inclusion team to raise expectations and achievement. Ideal candidates have TA experience, GCSEs in English and Maths, and HLTA qualifications or progress toward them, with strong

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting.
• GCSE English and Maths at C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• Working towards or achieved HLTA qualification.
• Ability to apply training effectively in classroom settings.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with students.
