Academics is seeking Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Bradford and surrounding areas. This role suits graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers or education professionals seeking flexible work.

Responsibilities include supervising classes, delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining behaviour and safeguarding pupils, with feedback to staff after each session.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people.
• Confident leading groups of students.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships quickly.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during teacher absence.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom expectations.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged with learning.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff following each lesson.
• Follow school safeguarding procedures at all times.
