Ribbons & Reeves is seeking a Cover Supervisor in Brentwood to supervise classes across various subjects when teachers are absent. You will deliver pre-prepared materials and keep students engaged, while maintaining a calm, supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have a degree (2:1 or First Class) and strong communication skills, with a genuine interest in helping secondary students succeed academically and personally.

• Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.

• Support students in completing assigned work and encourage them to work independently.
• Establish positive and professional relationships with students.
• Follow school policies and procedures relating to behaviour, safeguarding and student welfare.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on students' engagement, behaviour and progress.
• Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the wider school team.
• Support the smooth running of the school day and contribute to a positive school culture.
