Job summary

Apex Educ8 invites applications for Cover Supervisors to support Brent schools. You will supervise classes when teachers are absent, ensure students complete set work, and foster a positive learning environment. Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary school-aged pupils or young people.
• Good communication skills and confidence managing a classroom.
• A calm, adaptable and reliable approach.
• The ability to work independently and use your initiative.
• Willingness to complete the necessary safeguarding and compliance checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across a range of subjects.
• Ensure students remain on task and complete the work set by the teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Report any concerns or incidents to the appropriate member of staff.
