Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Cover Supervisor in South Gloucestershire to start in September. You will deliver pre-planned lessons when the class teacher is absent and manage behaviour to keep students engaged, with full training provided for progression from Teaching Assistant or Sports Coach roles.

The role offers daily pay rates (£110-£130) and a supportive recruitment partner with ongoing onboarding and CPD opportunities through My-Progression.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students is preferred.
• Ability to deliver pre-planned classroom activities with confidence.
• Strong skills in managing behaviour and maintaining engagement.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Proactive, adaptable approach to education.

Responsibilities
