Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a Computer Science teacher for a secondary school in St Albans, Hertfordshire. You will teach KS3–KS5, develop computational thinking and prepare students for further study in computing.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science.
• Can explain programming and technical concepts clearly.
• Uses practical activities to develop problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science across KS3–KS5.
• Deliver lessons on algorithms, programming, data representation and computer systems.
• Support GCSE and A‑Level assessments.
• Use assessment to identify misconceptions and improve understanding.
• Contribute to curriculum development and computing enrichment activities.
