Marchant Recruitment is seeking a Teacher of Computer Science to inspire pupils across KS3–KS5 at a Watford academy. The role is full-time and permanent, with ASAP start and a salary on the MPS/UPS scale dependent on experience.

Candidates should hold QTS or an equivalent qualification and possess solid CS knowledge. You will deliver engaging programming, algorithms and data concepts, manage practical lessons, and support pupils with problem solving and exam preparation.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Solid Computer Science knowledge.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to pupils of varying levels.

Responsabilités

• Teach Computer Science across KS3–KS4, KS5 depending on experience.
• Deliver lessons on algorithms, programming, data representation and computer systems.
• Track pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Prepare examination classes through structured practice and feedback.
• Support pupils with coding tasks and independent problem-solving.
