Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking dynamic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Sefton. You will lead pre-planned lessons during teacher absences, deliver engaging content, and maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies.

This role offers flexible day-to-day supply options (long-term to part-time), with rapid onboarding and opportunities for CPD. Competitive pay and weekly pay are provided in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven prior experience working directly with children or young people.
• High level of confidence in whole-class management and communication.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-planned lessons efficiently across various subjects during teacher absences.
• Deliver engaging educational content while keeping students focused and on-task.
• Maintain strong, positive behaviour management in line with school policies.
• Support student learning and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Complete accurate attendance registers and report back to core teaching staff.
