Job summary

TLP is seeking a confident Freight Forwarder All-Rounder to manage air and sea shipments end-to-end with a sense of humour. The role involves quoting, booking, documentation, and coordinating with airlines, hauliers and customers to ensure smooth movement of goods.

The ideal candidate understands HAWB/ETA/B/L terminology, stays on top of customs rules, and thrives under pressure while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, ideally across Air & Sea.
• Comfort with industry terms like HAWB, ETA, B/L and demurrage.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Confident communication with customers, suppliers and overseas partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air and sea freight shipments from start to finish — the whole journey, minus the jet lag.
• Prepare accurate quotes, bookings and shipping documentation, ensuring all the T's are crossed and B/Ls, AWBs and paperwork are in order.
• Liaise with airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, agents and customers to move everything as planned.
• Track shipments and keep customers updated throughout the journey.
• Problem-solve when things go sideways and keep operations moving.
• Build strong customer relationships through clear, proactive communication.
• Stay on top of customs requirements, international shipping regulations and industry procedures.
• Work closely with the wider team to keep operations running smoothly.
