Job summary

Saga is hiring a Transport Operations Coordinator for a 6-month FTC with potential extension in Crawley. The role involves coordinating daily activities for roughly 100 fleet vehicles and 150 Chauffeur Drivers, in a fast-paced environment.

Expect 38.5 hours per week with a 4 days on/4 days off pattern, and occasional after-hours on-call duties with incentives. You will support Planning, Delivery and Support functions, prioritise tasks, and maintain accurate information in a 24/7 operation,

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication with a professional manner.
• Experience handling multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient with MS Office and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer master route planning data and ensure accuracy across systems.
• Support Transport Planners and Team Leader in creating cost-efficient journey plans.
• Manage changes and queries (amendments, cancellations, customer requirements).
• Monitor flights, traffic and weather; adapt transport plans in real time.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, and suppliers with clear information.
• Prepare journey documentation and reporting for budget tracking.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and resolve queries with high service levels.
• Collaborate across the transport operation to meet deadlines.
